Child Care

AMG is concerned about moulding and nourishing the children and it believes that today's children are the nation builders of tomorrow. Food, clothing, shelter and the education to about 12,000 students in residential schools is totally free.

Some of the child care services other than education are:

Milk Project:

Children up to 2 years from slum areas are provided daily with nutritious milk, as their parents cannot provide nutritious diet on their own being poor and of uncertain incomes. AMG mainly adopts children of daily labourers, rickshaw pullers, agricultural laborers etc. AMG is running Milk projects at Chilakaluripet, Vijayawada, Kakinada, and Visakhapatnam. About 3000 children are provided with milk every day.

Homes of Hope:

Small groups of poor children (about 10-20) are kept under the care of a home parent and are given education, with free food, clothing, books and medical care. There are about 1500 children as beneficiaries in the coastal districts of Andhra Pradesh under this project.

Day Care Centers:

Poor parents leave their children at home and go out to earn their livelihood. These children have no one to look after them at home and also do not attend any schools. Left to themselves they grow to become unsocial elements. AMG has compassion for such children, AMG provides nutritious mid-day meal and also runs schools right in their midst. AMG is running Day Care Centers at Chilakaluripet, Vijayawada, Rajahmundry, Kakinada and Visakhapatnam. AMG is supporting these children moulding them into useful citizens.
