AMG ITI students joined hands to give a face lift to the campus. They cleaned the premises, planted some plants and leveled their road.
3 students (namely Ms. K. Kezia, Mr. K. Madhusudhan Rao, Mr. J. Aravind) from AMG High School, Chilakaluripet who secured 10/10 GPA points, in the Annual exams conducted by the Government, were sanctioned Prathibha awards by the State Government. Each student was given a Certificate and Rs. 20,000/- cash award. We are happy that each student donated Rs. 2,000/- (total Rs. 6,000/-) in gratitude for training and helping them with good education and building a strong foundation for a successful future.
Even though, it was Sunday evening, we are thankful that the Principal and Teachers in AMG High School, Vadarevu, received us in the School and described about the school activities and the school has moulded and transformed the lives of the children of Fishermen community, in the Vadarevu village and nearby villages, by providing quality English medium education. Many of the students, who studied in the school, have not gone back to fishing with their parents, but are working in different companies and leading comfortable lives, without any suffering. All of them are grateful to AMG India and to the Donors for giving them the much needed helping hand to rebuild their broken lives.
Dr. Raimund Utsch, Mr. Bernd van de Sand and Mr. Jakob Adolf, from Wort & Tat, Germany, along with AMG Director and Administrative Officer, visited AMG Dr. Cornelia Street Children Home, Chirala and spent time with the children in the Home. The children were happy to meet the Wort & Tat team members and gladly shared their experiences in the home.
Deichmann ITI students in Chilakaluripet were given Textbooks and Uniforms by AMG Director and other senior officers today. AMG Deichmann ITI is sufficiently equipped with necessary machines, so the students can get the best training in their trades. We are happy to note that almost all the students of AMG Deichmann ITI are trained well and there is lot of demand for ITI graduates coming out of our ITI. We thank the donors of Wort & Tat, Germany for their support and all the staff for training the students well.
