Mrs. Mariamma is working as a helper in AMG. Her family is living in a thatched hut in her village. Recently, the hut was burnt down, when a gas cylinder in the neighbour house caught fire. Mariamma lost all her clothes and other belongings in the fire accident and the house roof also was burnt. On her request AMG Director gave her financial help to rebuild the hut and buy some household items.

AMG started an English medium School for the children of Fishermen community in Vadarevu and nearby villages. Nearly 1800 students are studying in the School and learning well. As they come from low-income group and their parents are fishermen, who do not have regular income, AMG with help from the donors provides all their needs Free of cost, including Textbooks, Notebooks, study materials, Uniforms and Breakfast and Lunch. In this process, we have distributed the second pair School Uniform to the students, to help them wear neat and good clothes and develop their confidence.
