Monthly Rations of Rice 10 kgs, Dal 2 kgs, 1 litre Cooking oil, one Toilet soap and one Bath soap were distributed to 110 TB patients, 30 Leprosy patients, 72 HIV/ AIDS affected persons and 24 Visually Challenged persons. These patients cannot work and earn much due to their sickness, but have to take strong drugs for recovery, they need to take good nutritious food. Hence, our food rations supplement their meager income from work. The patients thank AMG and Wort & Tat for helping them.
AMG Staff distributed monthly rations to 200 TB patients and 65 Blind persons in Chilakaluripet area in Guntur district. Every month, we give them Rice 10 kgs, Dhall 2kgs, Cooking oil 1 litre and one Bath soap and one detergent soap. The patients were very happy and thanked the Donors for remembering them in their hour of need.
Every month, AMG is distributing monthly Rations of Rice 10 kgs, Dhal 2 kgs, cooking oil 1 litre and one Bath soap and one Detergent soap, to nearly 450 Leprosy victims and Visually Challenged persons, in Ponnuru and Tenali areas in Guntur district. The patients are very grateful for the support, they are receiving from AMG and thanked the Donors for remembering them in their need.
Ms. Manikyala Devi is working as a Craft Teacher in Susanna Center for Women, in Polireddypalem, Chilakaluripet. She is training girls and women from Polireddypalem colony in different handicrafts and saree making, chalk piece making, embroidery and painting etc to develop their innate talents and also help them to become earning members of the family and become self-reliant. Her father has passed away and she is living with her mother. Now, her mother has fixed her marriage with a boy Mr. Sagar, on 10th May. As she is poor and she has to meet her marriage expenses, AMG Director gave her financial help and new clothes and wished her a happy married life.
Awareness programme on HIV/ AIDS was conducted by AMG staff in Narasaraopet town. Our Social Worker explained different aspects of the disease and how to avoid it and incase the person is already affected with the disease, what she/he should do to contain the damage because of the disease.
