AMG continues Cyclone Fani Relief.

AMG Staff and Representatives have been working in coordination with local Government Officials and Police officials, because many villages and many people are still waiting for Relief, as very few NGOs have really started the Relief work to help the victims in these villages. With help from Police, AMG staff could reach out to needy people with Relief materials. This has helped the smooth distribution of Relief materials to the Cyclone victims.

 AMG Cyclone Fani Relief Continues.

AMG Staff and Representatives are in constant contact local Government Officials, who are very cooperative because, AMG is one of very few NGOs who are in the field to help the victims. They are directing the staff to go to villages, which are in much need. They also provided Police support, because people will be restless and will not wait to receive the Relief materials. This has helped in smooth distribution of Relief materials to the needy victims.

AMG Continues....Cyclone Fani Relief

AMG Cyclone Relief in Odisha continues.

AMG staff with help from local volunteers continued to help the Cyclone Fani victims in different villages of Puri district, which was severely hit by the cyclone and the following heavy winds, at nearly 200 kms speed. The affected villages are still suffering from lack of electricity and lack of clean drinking water and road transport facilities have not yet been fully restored. We have distributed small battery lights for them to move in darkness during night times. Many villages are still unreached and still waiting for some Good Samaritan to come and help them.

We are the first NGO people to visit them and help the victims, who are mainly daily wage agricultural workers and live in thatched huts, which were damaged in the severe cyclonic winds. Many of them lost many of their things and were very happy and thanked AMG Staff for the help.
