Some Students studying in distant Colleges and Migrant Workers are walking hundreds of miles and miles with the hope to reach their homes. We find many young students from different colleges, who were stuck up in College hostels in distant towns, because of country-wide lockdown due to COVID-19, have exhausted all their money and as the colleges and hostels are closed have no hope to stay in the place and decided to go walking to their native towns and villages, to meet their family members. Similarly, Migrant workers have waited for about a month and now are walking miles daily with hope to reach their native villages, so that they can meet and stay with their own family. AMG staff gave some of these people food packets and water bottles, so they do not fall down on the road due to hunger or thirst.
