AMG India with financial support from Wort & Tat, Germany, gave Rice, Dal, provisions, soaps and vegetables and other family need items, to polio affected persons, who are suffering due to COVID- 19 lockdown. During the lockdown, when common people in the low-income group of income suffered largely, because, most of them are unorganized daily wage workers, they could not go for work and earn. We can imagine the difficulties and problems faced by the polio affected persons, because, even in normal conditions, they cannot compete with normal persons and work. During lockdown, it was much more difficult, and people were suffering without enough food for some days. When AMG gave them food items, they were happy and thanked Wort & Tat, Germany and AMG India for their timely help.

Lockdown in India imposed on 24^th March, to contain the spread of COVID- 19 pandemic, is still continuing. However, because of lockdown, the Below Poverty line families, dependent upon daily wage works in agriculture/ construction works/ Tobacco and cotton mills, are not able to go to work. AMG School, Chilakaluripet is educating their children to build their future lives. WoordenDaad Foundation, The Netherlands, helped these poor families of AMG School children and provided Rice, Dal, Provisions and vegetables, in different villages around Chilakaluripet. The families were very grateful and thankful to AMG and Donors WoordenDaad Foundation.

Still many more families are being supported by AMG, now with the generous support of WoordenDaad, The Netherlands. We praise God for their generosity and kindness.

Food Ration to Parents of Children in AMG School, Bheemili.

(Day-3)-Rations and provisions were distributed to 185 families of children studying in AMG School, Bheemili. Many of them thanked AMG profusely and asked that their words of gratitude be shared to the donors: Deichmann Foundation, Germany.

Migrant workers given food by AMG.

Today also, AMG staff went to the place where migrant workers are kept by Government officers, till they are sent to their native places by buses, and fed about 230 migrant workers with their wives and children. Officials asked AMG to provide food 3 times a day to these Migrant workers, till they arrange buses for their travel to their states/ places, according to Government instructions/ guidelines. AMG staff cooked food in AMG premises and gave the food, showing compassion and sharing God’s love. They all thanked AMG and Donors Wort & Tat, Germany.

Food Ration to Parents of Children in AMG School, Bheemili

(Day 2) - AMG Bheemili : 176 families were helped by the school staff because of the generosity of Deichmann foundation. Many parents were overwhelmed with all the provisions they received. All Praise to God.

Village Pastors given rations.

AMG India helped village Pastors with rice, dal, oil and provisions and vegetables. Pastors could not conduct Sunday worship since 22^nd March, as India was under lockdown from 24^th March. Gathering of people for religious purposes was banned. These village Pastors have small churches. They were unable to feed their families and many families were eating one meal a day. So, we gave these poor village Pastors ration items like Rice, dal oil etc and vegetables.

Ration Distribution to parents of Children in AMG School, Bheemili

Rations were distributed to the poor parents of children attending school in AMG Bheemili by CDO Mr. Sunith Cowman Tanety and our Honourable Minister Mr. Muttamsetti Srinivasa Rao garu. We are very grateful to Deichmann Foundation for their kindness towards the needy during these terrible times.

Nearly 200 migrant workers with their wives and children, form other states and districts were passing through Chilakaluripet were stopped and kept in different places. Officials asked AMG to provide food 3 times a day to these Migrant workers, till they arrange buses for their travel to their states/ places, as per Government guidelines.AMG officials cooked in AMG premises and gave the food, showing compassion and sharing God’s love. AMG India gives Ration items to village Pastors.

We, with donations from AMG International, USA, helped the village Pastors rice, dal, oil and other provisions and vegetables. These Pastors could not conduct Sunday worship from 22^nd March till today, as the country wide lockdown was imposed on the 24^thMarch. Gathering of people was banned by Govt. of India in all religious places namely, Hindu temples/ Muslim Masjids/ Christian Churches etc. The village Pastors could not conduct Sunday worship services and the church congregations could not give their offerings. These Pastors minister small Churches and do not have much income. They were unable to feed their families and many families were eating one meal a day and going hungry during night. So, we gave these poor village Pastors ration items like Rice, dal oil etc and vegetables. The Pastors praised God and thanked AMG India and AMG International USA.

Food given to migrant workers.

Migrant workers from other states and districts, working in agriculture and stone quarries, tobacco/ cotton mills have been under greatest difficulty. They lost their jobs due to closure of companies and could not get alternate works, due to the lockdown. There was fear for life as the fatalities mounted day by day. Defying all restrictions, they started their long walk journey to their home villages. They had no food and no water and depended on God for help. AMG came to their rescue and shared God’s love and gave them cooked food/ food packets. They all thanked AMG and Donors.
