AMG India International is a registered Christian social service organization, established in 1968, by Dr. S. John David. AMG is serving the poor, needy, sick & starving, disabled & destitute persons in their need, without any discrimination of caste, creed, or religion, with special emphasis on Education and Health.
Dr. S. John David, Founder, AMG India, devoted his life and worked hard to uplift the living conditions of socially & economically weaker persons & communities, through Education, Health, Community Development, Skill building and Awareness activities etc. As a result of his selfless services, many lakhs of these persons were helped and equipped with skills to were able to rebuild their lives/ families and improved their financial status. AMG services brought happiness in the lives of Children, Oldage persons, Leprosy patients, TB patients and Visually challenged persons, Polio children and other differently abled children/ persons. At present, every month, AMG, through its various activities/ projects/ programmes, is assisting more than 2,50,000 poor, needy and destitute persons, in Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Odisha and Tamilnadu states, as furnished below.

Dr. S. John David and his wife Dr. Mrs. Satyavedam believed that, as children of God, we should help other people in need, without any differences of caste, creed or religion.
In course of time, like-minded philanthropic persons and organizations joined hands with Dr. John David, to help the poor & needy, Care the sick and Love the disabled persons like leprosy victims and Physically/ Visually challenged persons and Care for the poor children. AMG services are free and are provided without any discrimination of caste, creed or religion.
Dr. Spiros Zodhiates, Founder-President, AMG International (U S A), was the first person in 1968, to support Dr. S. John David.
Dr. H. H. Deichmann, a German businessman, Founder, Wort & Tat, Germany, joined hands with Dr. S. John David in 1977 and in course of time, became the Chief Donor.
The association of Dr. Spiros Zodhiates, Dr. Deichmann and Dr. John David, three Visionaries, resulted in helping thousands of poor, needy and sick persons and in the spread of AMG services to many places in Andhra Pradesh, Orissa and Tamilnadu states.
In the later years, other Donor agencies, namely, WoordenDaad, The Netherlands, KindernotHilfe (K.N.H), Germany, and Christoffel Blinden Mission(C.B.M), Germany and a few individual donors were also associated with AMG India. The Donors strengthened the hands of AMG India, in uplifting the needy children/ persons of economically & socially marginalized/ backward people/ communities in India. AMG services have been recognized and appreciated by the Government of India, the Government of Andhra Pradesh, other Indian and foreign organizations.

National Award for Child Care for the year 1995, given by Hon'ble President of India Dr. Shankar Dayal Sharma.

OBJECTIVES :-
- To provide Quality Education to poor & needy children in Schools/ Colleges.
- To provide Quality Medical aid & Treatment to poor people, through Hospitals, Medical camps.
- To build houses/ colonies for leprosy victims and rehabilitate them and educate their children.
- Monthly rations to Leprosy, T.B., PLWHA and Physically & Visually challenged persons.
- To care for neglected/ deserted old persons, through Old Age Homes.
- To give monthly financial supports to old persons for medicines.
- To rehabilitate differently abled persons, like Polio & Visually challenged children.
- Community Development Projects, for specific groups, through Adult Education classes, Awareness camps, Income Generation projects.
- To provide Emergency Relief to victims of natural calamities such as Fire, Floods, Cyclone, Tsunami, Drought etc.
- To establish Street children Homes.
- To extend Educational support to children of families under difficult circumstances, namely, Long-term Prisoners, Farmers who committed Suicide, HIV/ AIDS patients.
- To provide drinking water through Bore-wells in villages and slums.
- To help the beneficiaries through Rehabilitation and Income Generation Programmes.
- To help the beneficiaries to become Self-sustainable through Industrial Training Apprentice Programme, New Life Self-Help centres and Women Empowerment.
